Lisa is an accomplished senior HR professional with 30 years’ experience across the public, private and third sectors with expertise in delivering results at both strategic and operational levels.

Lisa previously held the spotlight in HR for many years by heading up the CIPD (the UK’s HR professional body) on HR and Organisational Development activities. She is a natural trouble shooter and relationship builder and since 2015 she has been working with a diverse range of employers to support their people and HR needs.

She is highly experienced in all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including employee relations, employment law, wellbeing and developing processes for improved ways of working. Lisa is a coach to leaders and managers, accredited in a range of psychometric assessments and has a very calm and pragmatic approach.

Lynwen Plowman

Lynwen,  has over 20 years’ experience working in a senior capacity within HR in companies such as GEC plc, Trafalgar House and Debenhams plc,  before establishing LPA (HR) Ltd.   She is a qualified employment lawyer and a Fellow of the CIPD.

Lynwen, whilst fully grasping the theory and best practice around HR, crucially has hands-on experience of the reality and complexities of managing people giving her great insight.  Her passion, and expertise, is bringing sound, practical and commercial solutions to HR matters ensuring that the needs of both the employer and, where possible, the employee are met.

David Plowman

David has been a director of LPA for 16 years having previously worked in the print and communications industry for over 20 years. He uses his commercial and industrial experience to provide practical solutions to challenging employment situations.

David’s particular expertise lie in the areas of Logistical Planning, Procedural Management, Employment Law and Human Resources. His focus and experience come through instigating change that has led to improved profitability, quality of service and staff retention.

David is a CIPD qualified HR professional, an accredited Belbin consultant and is a qualified Life Coach.
