Recruitment

Recruiting the right staffRecruitment is a challenge, and something that is easy to get wrong. Your people are a vital resource, but recruiting the wrong people can lead to:

  • Inefficiency
  • Low staff morale
  • Loss of business credibility
  • The worry, risk and inconvenience of dismissing staff
  • Extra costs (in both time and money) spent re-advertising and recruiting a replacement

LPA help you recruit the right staff. We have over twenty years of recruitment experience - from shop floor (via Assessment Centres) to Director level.

LPA use a combination of Job Description, Person Specification, Client Knowledge and, if required, Belbin analysis to ensure that the correct short list is compiled; we then ensure that the emotion and risk of recruitment is minimised when advising on the successful candidate.

Case Study:
Recruiting the Right People

A client wanted to appoint a new Finance Director. This was a key, expensive appointment for the organisation and they wanted to get it right – having made some poor decisions in the past.

LPA put in place a robust process– which included the provision of a job and person specification. The company short-listed candidates against set criteria; LPA prepared a structured interview with interview questions that tested both technical and behavioural aspects required in the role; and also attended the interviews as an objective, third party.

The process was cost-effective, professional and a successful appointment was made – setting in place for the candidate the standards the organisation worked to.
